About the Role 

 
The Partnerships Manager is a member of the Strategic Partners team reporting to the Vice President, Partnership Development. This role will drive growth by developing and managing high-impact relationships with key system integrators. This role is responsible for identifying partnership opportunities, negotiating agreements, and fostering long-term collaborations that expand Packsize’s market presence. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong business development background, deep knowledge of the packaging industry, and the ability to strategically align partnerships with company goals. 
 

What you’ll do 

  • Develop & Execute Partnership Strategy: Create and implement a strategic plan to identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with system integrators, focusing on driving mutual growth. 

  • Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for disintegrator partners, ensuring strong communication, collaboration, and alignment of business objectives. 

  • Business Development: Identify new opportunities and growth areas within the packaging distributor market, leveraging Packsize’s unique value proposition to expand market share. 

  • Contract Negotiation & Execution: Lead negotiations for new and existing partnerships, managing contract terms, pricing agreements, and joint marketing initiatives. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure distributor needs are integrated into Packsize’s solutions and go-to-market strategies. 

  • Market Insights & Analysis: Stay informed of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to inform partnership strategies and identify areas for growth. 

  • Performance Tracking: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure partnership success and drive continuous improvement in partner relationships. 

  • Partner Enablement: Equip distributors with the knowledge, tools, and resources to effectively promote and sell Packsize solutions, including training programs, co-marketing efforts, and sales support. 
     

What you’ll bring 

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, solutions, or sales in the warehouse automation industry 

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the packaging industry, particularly the role of integrators in the supply chain. 

  • Leadership: Proven track record of managing high-level partnerships and driving significant revenue growth through strategic collaborations. 

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels. 

  • Negotiation Skills: Strong experience in negotiating complex contracts and partnership agreements. 

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze market data, industry trends, and partner performance to drive strategic decision-making. 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred 
     

Physical Demands and Working Conditions 

  • Up to 50% travel 

  • Remote position (East Coast Preferred)
     

What We Offer 

The Base Salary for this role is $146,000-$160,000/yr + Variable Bonus; however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
