Description

We are Paramount Commerce, a leading fintech company focused on simplifying payments in Canada. Since the early 2000s, we have redefined online purchasing by introducing a way to pay directly from a bank account, bypassing credit cards or e-wallets. Our commitment is to provide the highest standards of security and risk management that support seamless payments and rich data.

As we strengthen our position in Canada, we are strategically positioning ourselves for global expansion. To achieve our goals, we are seeking talented professionals who can push the boundaries of innovation, contributing to our growth across Canada and worldwide. Join us at Paramount Commerce, where we not only follow fintech trends but shape them.

We're seeking a motivated Partnerships Coordinator to join our Partnerships team. The Partnerships team is a fast-moving, growth-oriented group focused on scaling our partner network and driving revenue impact. We collaborate across the business to build strong relationships, streamline onboarding, and deliver a world-class partner experience. If you thrive in a dynamic environment where speed, organization, and impact matter, you'll feel right at home here.

As a Partnerships Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in helping us acquire new partners and ensure a seamless onboarding journey. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, you'll manage partnership pipelines, coordinate cross-functional workflows, and help translate partnership opportunities into revenue. You'll work closely with teams like Legal, Compliance, and Customer Onboarding to move partners through key milestones, maintain an accurate forecast in HubSpot, and align to quarterly growth targets.

What will you do?

Business Development Support

  • Assist in identifying new partnership opportunities through research on potential partners and market trends.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with prospective partners to present our value proposition and capture customer insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Onboarding, and Account Management teams to support partnership initiatives and merchant onboarding.
  • Streamline and facilitate communication across departments to ensure an efficient onboarding experience and strengthen the overall partner experience.

Partner Relationship Management

  • Maintain regular contact with partners to nurture long-term relationships and identify merchant onboarding opportunities.
  • Collect partner feedback on growth potential, market competition, and other key insights to help inform strategic decisions.

Sales Progress Reporting

  • Keep HubSpot and other internal systems updated with accurate partnership status, new leads, and pipeline opportunities.
  • Provide the Head of Partnerships with clear, timely updates and ensure data accuracy across internal systems including CRM and data analytics tools.

What we are looking for:

  • 1-3 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or a related role.
  • Experience with payment solutions is a significant plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a knack for building relationships across diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools for managing pipelines and tracking against quotas. Experience with Hubspot is a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and solving problems.

At Paramount Commerce, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We practice ethical and fair hiring processes and strongly encourage applications from diverse backgrounds. Accommodations are available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process.

We are committed to creating a place for our employees to be their authentic selves. We believe diversity of thought, background, and experience are essential to achieve our mission to simplify payments.
