Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2 permanent position

Compensation:  $60,000 - $70,000 + commission

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, curious, and results-oriented Partnership Development Representative to join our Revenue team. The ideal candidate is energized by prospecting, building relationships, and creating new business opportunities. You are comfortable leveraging technology, communicate confidently with K-12 education leaders, and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on helping school districts improve student outcomes.


The Partnership Development Representative (PDR) is responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities for BookNook's Regional Partnerships Directors. This role focuses on strategic outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, account research, and early-stage relationship development with K–12 district leaders. Success is measured by creating a qualified pipeline, scheduling high-quality discovery meetings, and supporting Regional Partnerships Directors in achieving territory growth.


At BookNook You Will:

  • Generate qualified sales opportunities in partnership with your assigned Regional Partnerships Director through strategic outbound prospecting, targeted campaigns, referrals, and other lead generation strategies.
  • Research school districts, identify key decision makers, and build target account plans aligned with BookNook's Ideal Customer Profile.
  • Engage prospective customers through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other outreach channels to establish relationships, uncover needs, qualify opportunities, and schedule discovery meetings for your assigned Regional Partnerships Director.
  • Nurture existing contacts and leads to generate new interest in BookNook solutions.
  • Partner closely with Marketing and your Regional Partnerships Director to execute territory strategies, campaign follow-up, conference lead management, and account-based outreach.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, activity tracking, and prospect data to support pipeline management and reporting.
  • Share best practices and contribute to the ongoing development of the Revenue team.
  • Travel up to 20% within your assigned territory to support conferences, customer events, and team meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


You are a good fit for this role if you have:
  • A passion for working for a mission-driven organization focused on improving educational outcomes for K–12 students.
  • 1+ years of experience in a Business Development Representative (BDR), Sales Development Representative (SDR), or inside sales role, preferably in a B2B SaaS or EdTech environment.
  • Demonstrated success prospecting, generating qualified sales opportunities, and consistently achieving activity or pipeline goals.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills, with the ability to engage school and district decision makers.
  • A self-motivated, resilient, and collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn, receive coaching, and continuously improve.
