NetBox Labs is looking for a Partner Solutions Engineer with 5+ years of experience to play a strategic role in enabling our partners to evangelize and sell our product offerings, and also aligning with our Sales team to deliver technical value to enterprise customers.
This role is perfect for someone who has both experience in working with Systems Integrators and Technology Partners, and also has a deep technical expertise in networking, network infrastructure, or automation. You’ll be the trusted advisor to our partners and customers, enabling them on NetBox Labs products, helping them understand how NetBox can solve complex network challenges, and helping them deliver solutions to their prospects.
What You’ll Do:Educate and train our partners on our technology so they can position,evangelize, sell, and deliver our solutions.
Be the primary technical point of contact for partner field technical teams, helping them architect and deliver NetBox Labs solutions
Work closely with Product, Field Technical, Sales, and Partner teams to facilitate effective sales cycles, POCs, and delivery for Partner prospects
Contribute to content creation, such as technical blogs, webinars, and whitepapers, to drive thought leadership in the network automation space.
Director of Partnerships – Collaborate closely to engage with our partners, drive partner strategy, develop technical champions, and identify/qualify/facilitate sales opportunities.
Sales and Sales Leadership - Facilitate effective interaction between Partner and NetBox Labs field team to drive net new opportunities and bring them to closed/won
Marketing Team – Provide technical input to shape messaging, campaigns, and demand generation efforts.
Product & Engineering Teams – Provide regular partner feedback on our products and positioning to help shape the future of NetBox Labs’ product offerings.
5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Pre-Sales role within enterprise infrastructure, networking, or open-source software.
Direct experience managing partner relationships such as Global Systems Integrators, Resellers, and Consulting firms while in a Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect, or similar Technical Pre-Sales role.
Training and presentation experience where you’ll empower our technology partners to help sell and deliver our solutions.
Working knowledge of networking concepts, network automation, and infrastructure technologies. Familiarity with NetBox or similar tools is a big plus.
Proven ability to engage both technical users and executive stakeholders in a consultative sales process.
Hands-on experience with APIs, scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.), and network automation workflows is a strong advantage.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills – you can translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value to our technology partners.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Understanding of network engineering principles, network device modeling, automation workflows
Basic Kubernetes management (kubectl)
Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry
SSO configuration (OIDC, OAuth, SAML)
Troubleshooting on Linux command line (CPU/memory/disk/network)
Event-driven automation and web services, e.g. AWX/Tower/AAP, FastAPI, Flask)
