The Partner Solutions Architect sits at the center of this transformation. This role is not just about providing technical support, it’s about shaping how partners experience the full power of OpenSesame’s content, APIs, and platform. You will design solutions, architect integrations, and enable partners to deliver business outcomes that differentiate OpenSesame in the market.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, Partner Management, and next-generation platform partners to imagine what’s possible—and then turn those ideas into scalable, repeatable partner solutions that accelerate revenue and ecosystem value.

Ultimately, success will be defined by delivering partner integrations that launch faster, work better, and unlock new ways for OpenSesame to grow.

Performance Objectives

Build Foundation & Technical Fluency (0–30 Days)

  • Understand the Landscape: Complete onboarding for OpenSesame’s products, APIs, metadata structures, and integration patterns.
  • Build Partner Context: Learn core partner models (LMS/LXP/HR Tech), observe integration calls, and gain insight into common use cases and challenges.
  • Establish Technical Credibility: Conduct initial architecture reviews with Product and Engineering to gain confidence in advising partners.

Deliver Early Wins & Strengthen Partner Readiness (30–60 Days)

  • Lead Your First Discovery Session: Conduct a full technical discovery and solution design meeting with a partner—identifying the right integration model and dependencies.
  • Create Repeatable Tools: Build an integration readiness checklist, configuration templates, and documentation structures that improve consistency and predictability across partner engagements.
  • Support Active Projects: Collaborate with Partner Managers and Engineering to advance in-flight integrations and remove blockers.

Own Partner Integrations End-to-End (60–120 Days)

  • Own 2–3 Integrations: Lead partner integrations from discovery through launch—including catalog sync, metadata configuration, API orchestration, and validation.
  • Surface Insights for Innovation: Present a quarterly partner solutions report outlining integration trends, challenges, enhancement opportunities, and partner feedback loops.
  • Showcase Capabilities: Deliver a demo-ready integration environment or joint showcase used by Sales and Partner Marketing to differentiate OpenSesame in the ecosystem.

Scale Impact & Expand the Partner Ecosystem (120+ Days)

  • Enable at Scale: Develop training, playbooks, and technical guides that help partners and internal teams understand integration options and best practices.
  • Drive Co-Innovation: Collaborate with Partner Managers to identify and design deeper integration pathways, new partner experiences, or co-created solutions.
  • Influence the Roadmap: Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering that improves partner experience, reduces integration friction, and unlocks new revenue opportunities.
  • Elevate OpenSesame’s Ecosystem: Become recognized internally and externally as a trusted advisor who helps partners realize the full value of the OpenSesame platform.

  • Partner integrations launch faster, with fewer escalations and clearer documentation.
  • Partners understand how to leverage OpenSesame APIs and metadata to deliver meaningful business value.
  • Sales, Product, and Partner Management see you as a strategic resource who accelerates partner revenue and strengthens technical credibility.
  • You build scalable processes that reduce friction, increase repeatability, and expand partner capacity.
  • OpenSesame’s partner ecosystem grows with more differentiated, technically compelling joint solutions.

Location: This position can be based anywhere in the US or Canada. We operate as a remote-first company, and invest in mandatory all-company meetings several times a year in addition to required team travel as necessary. We require up to 15 days of travel per year, with senior management and leadership teams requiring up to 35 days.

Compensation: The base salary for this position typically ranges from $120,000 to $150,000 USD annually, depending on experience. This role is also eligible for up to 30% bonus.
