Atlassian is on a mission to unleash the potential in every team.
Our partners are a critical route to market, and we're expanding our Managed Service Provider (MSP) ecosystem to deliver Atlassian-powered managed services to enterprise customers worldwide.
As Partner Manager, Technical Programs - MSP, you will lead the design and execution of scalable technical programs that enable MSP partners to build, launch, and grow differentiated managed service offerings. You'll work at the intersection of technology, go-to-market strategy, and partner business growth - creating the frameworks, assets, and enablement that ensure MSPs can deliver enterprise-grade solutions at scale.
This role is not about project-by-project delivery. Instead, you'll drive programmatic engagement across a portfolio of partners, influencing their technical capabilities, GTM readiness, and service innovation over the long term. You will operate cross-functionally with Atlassian's product, engineering, partners and sales teams to align partner offerings with market needs, customer requirements, and Atlassian's strategic priorities.
What You'll Do
• Lead the technical enablement lifecycle for MSP partners - from onboarding and solution design to optimization and capability expansion.
• Develop repeatable GTM technical programs, including certification frameworks, solution blueprints, automation templates, and provisioning standards.
• Collaborate with business development to co-create market-ready MSP offerings that integrate Atlassian products into managed services with defined SLAs, automation, and compliance controls.
• Produce and maintain technical GTM assets such as reference architectures, deployment playbooks, and competitive differentiation guides that accelerate partner-led sales.
• Govern and monitor partner technical performance, proactively identifying capability gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Advocate for MSP market needs within Atlassian's product and engineering teams to influence roadmap priorities and integration enhancements
• Scale enablement impact through train-the-trainer models, regional partner bootcamps, and on-demand technical resources.
Your Background
• 5+ years in technical partner management, solutions architecture, or sales engineering, with direct experience in MSP environments and SaaS/cloud ecosystems.
• Proven track record leading technical enablement for MSPs, SIs, or ISVs to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
• Deep understanding of cloud architectures, SaaS delivery models, security frameworks, and integration patterns.
• Executive presence and the ability to engage effectively at all levels - from partner architects to C-level executives.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $207,000 - $270,250
Zone B: $186,300 - $243,225
Zone C: $171,900 - $224,425
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
