The Content Partnerships & Business Development team is key to this mission and supports our News, Entertainment & Lifestyle verticals by securing new content and media deals and ensuring the success of existing partnerships. As a Partner Manager, you will enable a vital feedback loop between Editorial, Product, Engineering, Business Development, Finance, Legal, and the Partner. This role acts as the day-to-day contact for partners, manages deal governance, payment approvals, escalations, feed set-up and other tasks pivotal to the success of the partnership.
Responsibilities

Drive overall partner success and be responsible for the performance of licensing agreements.

Monitor and analyze ongoing deal metrics to understand the health of the partnership.

Analyze performance and develop plans to close performance gaps.
-
Coordinate with Content Ops for feed ingestion and resolution of any content serving issues.

Manage all partner communications and business reporting rhythms including weekly, monthly, quarterly meetings.

Handle escalations and drive resolution.
-
Manage centralized reporting dashboard that tracks profitability of key deals as well other KPIs important to the business.
Preferred Skills/Requirements:

Experience in building close “trusted advisor” relationships with external partners.

Experience in setting account management strategies and initiatives.

Digital media/publishing expertise including content syndication.

Experience working with talent and/or talent agency and management teams.

Working knowledge of copyright media law.

Superb quantitative/analytical skills.

Passionate about internet business and capable of working in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Strong persuasion, prioritization and relationship building skills are essential; and comfort influencing partners and co-workers at all levels of an organization.

Comfortable with managing multiple projects with tight deadlines and a sense of urgency.
Experience/Education
-
Bachelor's degree preferred.

Directly-applicable deal/account-management experience (ideally within digital media), and a solid understanding of relevant partnership business models

The compensation for this position ranges from $84,750.00 - $176,875.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
