A Note on Location

This role is primarily remote, with the expectation of occasional in-person meetings at our Toronto office and some travel for conferences.

The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to own and grow our State Association partnerships.

This role is responsible for turning these partnerships into scalable, repeatable revenue channels - driving awareness, member engagement, and conversion through structured programs and campaigns.

You’ll work closely with Partner Marketing to execute campaigns, while owning partner performance, activation, revenue outcomes, and the overall relationship.

What You’ll be Doing

Partnership Ownership & Revenue Growth
  • Own a portfolio of State Accounting Association partners and their performance
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships while operating in a scaled model
  • Drive partner-sourced pipeline and revenue through a mix of scalable conversion motions — including trials, demos, and light-touch or sales-assisted paths, depending on what best fits each partner and segment
  • Own performance across the full partner-sourced sales funnel
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing partnerships and expand within the ecosystem

Partner Activation & Engagement
  • Ensure partners are consistently active and promoting Blue J through defined programs
  • Run regular check-ins and performance reviews with key partners
  • Identify underperforming partners and implement plans to improve engagement and results
  • Manage scalable programs designed to drive trial volume and conversion, including:
    • Webinars and CPE events with clear CTAs
    • Newsletter placements and co-marketing campaigns
    • Member offers tied to free trial activation
  • Ensure programs are consistent, measurable, and continuously optimized

Performance Management & Optimization
  • Track and analyze partner performance across key funnel metrics (traffic, trials, activation, conversion, revenue)
  • Identify top-performing partners and campaigns; double down on what works
  • Optimize or sunset underperforming initiatives

Systems & Process Development
  • Help build a repeatable partner growth engine, including:
    • Standardized campaign playbooks
    • Performance tracking frameworks
    • Partner communication cadence

What You Offer Blue J

  • 4–7+ years in account management or partnerships
  • Experience managing partner/account portfolios with revenue targets
  • Strong understanding of conversion funnels and go-to-market motions
  • Experience running or supporting marketing-driven programs and campaigns
  • Ability to manage multiple partners and initiatives in a structured, scalable way
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to drive efficiency, improve workflows, and stay ahead of industry trends

What We Offer You

  • A rare opportunity to own and grow our State Association partnerships.
  • A mission-driven culture where your work directly advances clarity, efficiency, and accessibility in tax research.
  • Competitive base salary, stock options, and benefits designed to support you and your family.
  • Flexibility in how you work: primarily remote, with occasional travel to our Toronto office and conferences as needed.
  • A collaborative, ambitious, and supportive team that values innovation, respect, and fun.
  • The excitement of a fast-growing, well-funded company with clear momentum, and the resources to back bold initiatives.

Travel Requirements

  • Travel required for partner-related activities, including conferences, trade shows, and key association events
  • Occasional travel for in-person partner meetings and relationship building
  • Travel varies based on event calendar and partner priorities

The Core Values that Define Our Culture

  • We are customer-focused
