Job Responsibilities
- Firewall Management: Configure, manage, and maintain Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and Panorama.
- Security Policy Design: Create and enforce security policies, including NAT, rules, VPN, and URL filtering.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve network security, traffic inspection, and connectivity issues.
- Infrastructure Security: Deploy security solutions (intrusion detection/prevention) to protect data centers.
- Automation: Utilize scripting (Python, bash) and API integration to automate tasks and optimize configurations.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to industry best practices and maintain compliance documentation
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5+ years of network security experience, specifically with Palo Alto Networks technologies.
- Certifications: Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) is highly preferred.
- Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), MPLS, and VRF.
- Skills: Experience with threat intelligence, WildFire, GlobalProtect, and Azure/AWS security integration.
- Education: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
