The simple task of buying software, services, or tools at work has become hopelessly complicated at even the most innovative companies in the world. Today, enterprises spend $120T+ per year globally (>30 times larger than annual consumer e-commerce spend) and rely on vendors more than ever before to run their businesses.

Our cofounders started Zip in 2020 to address this seemingly intractable problem with a purpose-built procurement platform that provides a simple, consumer-grade user experience. Within the last 4 years, Zip has created a new category and developed the leading solution in this $50B+ TAM space. Today, the world’s leading companies like OpenAI, Snowflake, Anthropic, Coinbase, and Prudential rely on Zip to manage billions of dollars in spend.

We have a world-class team coming from category-defining companies like Airbnb, Meta, Stripe, Salesforce, Apple, and Google. With a $2.2 billion valuation and $370 million in funding from Y Combinator, Tiger Global, BOND, DST Global, and CRV, we’re focused on developing cutting-edge technology, expanding into new global markets, and—above all–driving incredible value for our customers. Join us!

Your Role

The P2P Strategy & Operations role is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of product, go-to-market, and customer success for one of the fastest-growing segments of our business. You’ll be instrumental in shaping and scaling the strategy behind our procure-to-pay (P2P) product, driving both adoption and expansion across our customer base. This role offers direct visibility into high-impact initiatives, ownership of strategic programs, and the chance to collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders to solve some of our most complex and high-value challenges.

Key responsibilities include identifying and driving operational improvements across the P2P lifecycle, building and evolving our sales and customer enablement playbooks, and partnering with product and engineering to prioritize and execute roadmap features. You’ll also help define our ideal customer profile (ICP), track segment performance, and support key P2P customer launches. Ultimately, your goal will be to accelerate P2P growth by making the product easier to sell, easier to adopt, and more valuable to every customer that uses it.

You Will
  • Partner with Sales, CS, and Marketing to develop and scale P2P go-to-market strategy, including playbooks, ICP definition, and enablement materials

  • Drive strategic initiatives to improve adoption, retention, and expansion across the P2P product line

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap prioritization and streamline customer feedback loops

  • Support and lead key P2P customer launches, ensuring operational readiness and internal alignment

  • Analyze performance metrics and customer usage data to identify growth opportunities and drive decision-making

  • Own cross-functional program management for major P2P initiatives, driving execution and accountability across teams

Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, business operations, or a similar analytical, cross-functional role

  • Experience working in or with high-growth companies, particularly in product, go-to-market, or operations functions

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, drive cross-functional alignment, and execute in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

  • Strong analytical skills: able to structure problems, analyze data, and translate insights into clear recommendations and actions

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working across GTM, product, and customer-facing teams

  • Familiarity with P2P, fintech, payments, or enterprise software a plus

  • Proficiency with tools like Excel/Sheets, Salesforce, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Notion, Jira)

  • Self-starter with high ownership mentality, intellectual curiosity, and a bias toward action

The salary range for this role is $160,000 - $170,000. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
