Iron Mountain is seeking a highly organized and experienced Legal Records Manager to oversee the efficient and compliant management of our legal records. This is an on-site, leadership role requiring a strong understanding of records management best practices within a law firm environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive policies and procedures for the creation, organization, storage, retrieval, retention, and destruction of physical and electronic legal records.

Manage the day-to-day operations of the records department, including supervising and training records staff.

Implement and manage the use of FileTrail software for records management, including data entry, system administration, and generating reports.

Oversee the firm's physical and electronic filing systems to ensure efficient retrieval and tracking of records.
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Proven experience at least 3 years in records management, specifically within a law firm environment.

Diploma in Records Management, Information Science, Library Science, or a related field is preferred.

Mandatory on-site presence at our Washington DC office

Certification in records (CRM, IGP, CIP, or CIGO) desired

Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of 7 .

Extensive knowledge of legal record-keeping practices, terminology, and document types.

Significant hands-on experience with FileTrail software is essential, including system administration and reporting capabilities.
