Position Type: Full-Time, Remote (Travel to Onsite as Required) 

Location: Remote – U.S. Based (Travel to Washington Metropolitan Area as needed) 

Viderity is seeking a creative and dynamic Outreach Manager to develop and manage outreach, communications, and public engagement strategies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in outreach, communications, or public relations, with a strong understanding of accessibility standards and public-facing communications. This is a remote position with occasional travel required to client or project sites in the Washington Metropolitan Area. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the development and execution of outreach and communications strategies.
  • Manage outreach campaigns and public engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure all outreach materials, digital content, and deliverables meet relevant accessibility standards (Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 AA compliance).
  • Develop content for websites, newsletters, press releases, social media, and other communication channels.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of outreach activities.
  • Facilitate community and stakeholder meetings, workshops, and other engagement activities.
  • Maintain project documentation and communication plans.
  • Manage relationships with media, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Support the continuous improvement of outreach processes and strategies.

Required Qualifications 

  • 7+ years of experience in outreach, communications, or public relations.
  • Proven experience developing and managing outreach or public engagement campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG 2.0 AA) and ability to apply them to communication products.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and communication platforms.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance (if required).
  • Ability to travel to client or project sites when required.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience working in a government contracting environment.
  • Experience in digital communications and public information campaigns.
  • Knowledge of federal communication policies and standards.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, graphic design tools, and social media platforms.

Compensation & Benefits 

  • Salary Range: $85,000 – $95,000 annually
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k)
