We are looking for an Outbound Sales Rep to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions!  This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.

In this role, you will partner with educational institutions across the U.S. to deliver security solutions that safeguard student data and protect vulnerable populations. You will combine strategic sales leadership with hands-on pipeline management, helping schools and colleges secure their platforms while creating safer learning environments. This position requires both strong relationship-building skills and the ability to drive adoption of security products in the education sector.


Responsibilities:

  • Recommend and position security solutions to customers based on their needs and organizational priorities.
  • Partner with account teams to drive adoption of security products within the K12 and Community College markets.
  • Manage the full sales cycle including pre-sales support, solution demonstrations, and customer presentations.
  • Build and maintain sales pipelines, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics).
  • Contact prospective and existing customers to explain product features, solicit orders, and manage contract terms.
  • Consult with clients post-sale to resolve issues and provide ongoing support.
  • Identify new opportunities through business directories, referrals, and participation in trade shows or industry events.
  • Monitor market conditions, competitors, and product innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with internal teams through regular meetings (approx. 40% of time), with the remainder dedicated to focused individual work (approx. 60%).

Required Qualifications:

  • 8–10 years of professional experience in sales, security, or related fields.
  • Strong background in pipeline management and CRM navigation/updates.
  • Experience with data analytics and the ability to derive insights from data.
  • Solid understanding of security fundamentals and vulnerabilities within educational environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer engagement skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent training).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are advantageous.
  • Direct experience supporting or selling into educational institutions.
  • Proven success managing complex sales cycles with long lead times.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Pay Range:

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic-based ranges for Washington state: $19.32 to $22.20 USD/per hr. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
