Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Order Processing Supervisor is managing, supervising, and coordinating work order processing activities and members of their team. The Order Processing Supervisor is accountable for performance of the team, resolves processing issues, and provides direction and guidance to their team. The Order Processing Supervisor will also be responsible for driving adherence to SLA, standard operating procedures, and running regular team meetings, as well as helping to assign, train and implement new accounts.
Essential Functions:
Lead regular Team status meetings
Establish, document, and monitor standard operating procedures
Utilize the Not Released and Erosion reporting to drive Team performance and adherence to established SLA’s
Assist Order Processing as needed to drive resolutions with Management/Sales/External Customers
Assign and track volume per Associates
Controls workflow within team to ensure daily workload is completed a timely manner
Oversees the continual review and refinement of operational processes and procedures
Identifies and analyzes issues which directly impact Order Processing
Develops and implements solutions to optimize maximum productivity and efficiency within the teams
Leads, plans, and coordinates team in an efficient manner to effectively perform job functions
Assists in the development of training materials and conducts training on order processing
Creates reference manuals, job aids, and other tools for training sessions
Confers with internal and external departments to exchange information and resolve issues
Prepares and submits reports on work activities, operations, and production
All other job duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
2+ years in a high-volume, metric driven, transaction-oriented service center environment supervising large teams
Proficient in conflict management and resolution
Experience providing solutions through analysis and investigation
Experience with job cost accounting and work in progress processes
Communicates effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors in a professional and courteous manner with strong written and oral communication skills
Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain professional working relationships with all levels of the organization as well as builders, vendors, subordinates, and co-workers
Exhibits sound and accurate judgment, supports, and explains reasoning for decisions, includes appropriate people in decision-making process, and makes timely decisions
Intermediate to advanced excel skills working with large volume of data– pivot Tables and v-lookups are a must
Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced, high energy, multiple priorities and deadline driven environment
Must be flexible and adaptable to change – changing priorities and process improvement
Positive, professional demeanor that sets an example for the rest of the team
Motivated and driven by producing results and the success of the team
Preferred
Associates Degree / 2-year Technical School
BS/BA in a related discipline
Construction or homebuilding industry experience a plus
SAP experience a plus
Material resource planning and/or production control experience with Systems Application Process (SAP)
Bilingual experience preferred, but not required (English/Spanish)

Pay range: $60K- $65K
