Your role, your impact

As an Oracle Cloud Supply Chain (SCM) Principal Consultant, you’ll provide the domain, functional and technical expertise required to effectively design and implement supply chain solutions on Oracle Cloud ERP Supply Chain modules such as Purchasing, Inventory Management, PIM, and Cost Management.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day

  • Provide functional expertise on projects and initiatives involving the Oracle Cloud ERP Supply Chain modules of Inventory Management and Procurement, as well as their integration with other internal and external boundary applications;

  • Work with the client's Supply Chain functions to capture and map business requirements to Oracle Cloud functionality;

  • Identify gaps and advise clients on options, risks, and value propositions;

  • Accountable for the generation and accuracy of the requirements document, the Oracle Cloud configuration, and the conversion and cutover activities pertaining to the Supply Chain modules;

  • Identify gaps and present solution options to business based on nuances of Oracle Supply Chain products and best practices;

  • Ensure that all capabilities delivered align with original business objectives, application service levels, IT strategies, and design intent;

  • Organize and facilitate functional design sessions with business users from multiple geographical regions and functional areas;

  • Integrate requirements from multiple design sessions and teams into the Cloud ERP system design;

  • Develop use and test cases to test the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP and participate in the execution of such test cases;

  • Provide support to testing team and end users during the various test cycles; remediate and/or disposition of test case failures or anomalies;

  • Align departmental policies and procedures with Cloud ERP system processes, policies, and procedures in the solution implementation;

  • Support project execution methodology, report on project progress, and aggressively identify and manage issues to closure;

  • Work with a cross-functional team to deliver a complete ERP solution, while leading and providing direction on Supply Chain modules.

Qualifications

Keys to your success

  • Bachelor's degree or higher;

  • 10+ years of experience in Oracle ERP implementations;

  •  Experience leading a team of 2-4 consultants and working within a multi-pillar project delivery team;

  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Inventory application, system development methodology, project management and system architecture;

  • Multiple Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Inventory and/or Procurement implementation experiences in a Lead role;

  • Proficiency with data conversion and migration from a legacy system into an Oracle Cloud environment;

  • Advanced analytical problem-solving skills.

  • Superior communication skills: Written, spoken and presentation, with ability to communicate and interact with senior and executive level management and influence outcomes.

Extra edge

  • Previous Healthcare/Hospital or Financial Services industry experience.

Language skills

  • French: Proficient

  • English: Proficient

Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, a proficient level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a daily basis with employees and managers outside of Quebec.
