The U.S. mortgage market is a $14 trillion pillar of the economy — and much of it still runs on fax machines, overnight shipping, and manual workflows. Snapdocs is changing that. Our platform currently powers 20% of all real estate closings in the country, and we’re just getting started.

We design workflow software and AI-driven automation that connects lenders, settlement teams, notaries, and investors — eliminating friction, reducing risk, and delivering a faster, simpler closing for every borrower. Our customers range from the largest mortgage lenders to independent title companies. They trust us because we solve real operational pain with empathy, rigor, and reliability.

We’re backed by Sequoia, Y Combinator, and F-Prime, and we’re building for the long term.

About the Role

At Snapdocs, we’re on a mission to modernize the real estate closing process — and we can’t do that without operational excellence at every step. As an Operations Specialist on our Notary Connect team, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring smooth, error-free signing experiences for our customers and notaries alike.

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering reliable, high-quality work. You’ll be the connective tissue between our clients, notaries, and internal teams — keeping every transaction on track from start to finish.

We currently have four evening-shift openings, all requiring availability on weekends.

What You’ll Do
  • Coordinate and schedule notaries for signing appointments, managing communication between parties and updating order details for accuracy.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve common transaction issues, escalating when necessary to prevent delays.

  • Review and quality-check documents for accuracy — ensuring every signature, initial, and date is correct before completion.

  • Make proactive outbound calls to resolve time-sensitive issues quickly and effectively.

  • Monitor order progress and apply independent judgment to anticipate and prevent potential issues.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to report discrepancies, resolve document errors, and maintain service quality.

  • Provide thoughtful feedback on process and product improvements.

  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned by leadership.

About You
  • You bring 1–2 years of customer service experience (mortgage, title, or notary background a plus but not required).

  • You’re detail-oriented, organized, and calm under pressure — able to juggle multiple priorities without losing focus.

  • You communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and over the phone.

  • You’re empathetic, patient, and find fulfillment in helping others succeed.

  • You have a learning mindset — eager for feedback and always looking for ways to improve.

  • You’re comfortable using multiple computer systems and adapting to new technology.

  • You thrive in a remote, team-oriented environment.

Schedule

All roles are evening shift positions (Mountain Time) and require availability on weekends.
Typical coverage blocks include:

  • Weekdays: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM MT

  • Weekends: Varying shifts

(Training will be provided during daytime hours for the first two weeks.)

Please Note:
Operations Specialists can expect consistent, reliable hours through the fourth quarter of 2025 as we support our busy season.
However, hours in early 2026 may fluctuate based on business needs and volume. This is a great opportunity for those looking for steady work now with the potential for future flexibility.

Compensation
  • Zone 1(San Francisco Bay Area, NYC Metro, Seattle Metro): $25.00/hour

  • Zone 2: $22.00/hour

Final hourly rate will depend on geographic location and experience.
