JANUS Research Group is seeking an Operations Engineer at Buckley Space Force Base to support the Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) Lead Integration, Test, and Evaluation with 24/7 Operational Support (FLITE+) program. This role supports system design, engineering and integration, engineering services, information technology professional services, and continuous operational support, all focused on advancing methods that increase the speed and reliability with which the Government delivers software and hardware to operational environments.

The Operations Engineer will:

  • Provide operational support of FORGE facilities and computer hardware systems;
  • System monitoring and troubleshooting in live mission environments;
  • Configuration implementation and sustainment support;
  • Coordination with integration and test teams;
  • Performance monitoring and anomaly resolution;
  • Documentation of operational activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in engineering or related technical discipline and 4 years relevant operational engineering experience;
  • Experience supporting computer hardware and mission systems in operational environments;
  • Familiarity with systems interfacing with missile warning architectures;
  • Demonstrated ability to support continuous 24/7 operations;
  • Ability to operate in a TS/SCI classified environment.
