SUMMARY:
The Onsite Solutions Specialist generates increased revenue for Motion branches
through industrial consumable and core product sales facilitated by equipment and
software solutions. This role primarily maintains and expands customer and branch
relationships to ensure sales growth and introduces and develops value added solutions
for customers.
JOB DUTIES
- Works with equipment manufacturers and software providers to provide unique solutions for specific customer requirements.
- Works with suppliers to select and verify equipment and software solutions.
- Generates year-over-year revenue growth through expanding solution placements with existing and new customers.
- Targets prospective branches and customers though sales calls and presentations.
- Develops solution proposals and assists with sales process as needed.
- Assists with contract execution.
- Provides financial information that enables the branch and division to make sound investments in support of the customer
- Conducts ROS analysis based on solution recommendation.
- Establishes financial recommendations for branches to ensure profitability within Mi financial guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Typically requires a high school diploma or GED.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of equipment and software supported by the Onsite Solutions Team.
- Knowledge of supply chain systems.
- Moderate computer skills including: communicating internally and externally via email, creating and modifying spreadsheets and using business systems, and searching capabilities to find products on the Internet.
- Reliability, organization and attention to detail required.
- Typically requires Industrial Distribution and Sales knowledge.
