The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable On-Site Product Consultant and Trainer to join our team. This role involves providing expert consultation and comprehensive training on our Fleet Solutions products remotely and directly at client locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet operations, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping clients optimize their use of our products. Plus, you'll travel 75% of the time, exploring new places and meeting new people!
What You’ll Do
Design route/distribution/telematics solutions to meet customer needs using product functionality, integration capabilities, and custom offerings.
Provide consulting services to the assigned projects as required including product functional consulting, business process re-engineering, engineering analysis, customization requirements, product installation, data conversion requirements and product validation.
Participate and engage in working sessions with customers to understand and clarify requirements
Configuration and training of the applications within customer’s environment.
Liaising between the Customer, Project Managers, and Technical Consultants to identify & clarify requirements and configuration.
Continue to improve knowledge of Solera's Fleet products, quality standards, industry and technology to better serve the internal and external customers.
Engage in scoping efforts with sales and scope projects in the pre-sales process.
Resolve technical and customer problems, escalating issues and inquiries when necessary.
Perform best practices analysis and consult with customers and PS management on increasing ROI.
Interact with customers in a professional manner, including proper handling of customer complaints.
Respond to customer email inquiries in a professional manner.
Mentor implementation consultant team members on implementation consulting and PS activities.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
7+ years of experience of delivering large transformation programs, utilizing high-performing teams.
Technical requirements gathering or business analysis experience, ideally in Fleet or Logistics markets, able to ‘think out of the box’ to deliver value solutions to customers.
Excellent customer facing skills, collaboration, and communication.
Commercially aware and able to support sales opportunities to deliver best results with least cost.
Strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships within the Professional Services team, passionate about collaborating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Experience of technical implementations/integration project and configuration
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
