About the Role:
The Onboarding Project Manager is responsible for the management of day-to-day onboarding of new account tasks. Working within a team of professionals in completing onboarding projects by a set deadline to uphold client obligations. Assures daily business operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures and specified by regulatory standards. Additional responsibilities of the Lead Project Manager include communicating with staff and clients, making decisions, and monitoring the process to ensure project timelines are on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Must be a motivated self-starter who maintains a friendly, courteous, and compassionate demeanor at all times.
- Coordinates with the Onboarding team and client to perform all day-to-day onboarding requirements according to our mission statement.
- Meets operational expectations and maintains high product quality standards by following and upholding all of established policies, procedures and protocols by adhering to the Project Manager Policy Guide, Employee Manual, and all other onboarding specific published materials.
- Remains cognizant of current projects, continually prioritizes projects by importance, maintains effective time management skills on a daily basis, ensuring all active onboarding engagements are up to date, and ensures communication is made to the appropriate personnel with their “current” status generating accuracy within the company portal.
- Performs tracking functions to account for permitting status at the city/municipality, or state level; May assist in researching new policies, procedures, etc to ensure SOPs are current, and we provide value add to our clientele by being expeditious in our processes.
- Provides coverage and performs duties and/or functions whenever SR Project Manager or Operations Manager is scheduled off, on vacation, or requests assistance during break times or meal periods.
- Responsible for actively listening, establishing rapport with clientele, vendors, and possess overall relationship building with all personnel – internally and externally.
- Attends all meetings, as scheduled.
- Responsible for exercising tact and professionalism when problem-solving and resolving conflicts; Maintains a willingness to take corrective actions to fix mistakes, address complaints, or otherwise improve the onboarding experience and all other job duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience
- Intermediate level of networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with tracking risks and status
- Ability to work amicably with clients (both internal and external)
- Basic level understanding of development practices and languages
- Strong communication skills
- Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
- Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
- Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
- Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
- Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change.
