About the role

As an Onboarding Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for new clients—guiding them through system setup, data clean-up, and preparing their accounts for ongoing success. This is a client-facing, high-touch role that requires exceptional communication skills, strong accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage a large portfolio with speed and accuracy.

What you'll do

  • Lead daily client meetings to gather data and build trust.
  • Set up and configure Uplinq and QuickBooks Online accounts to ensure seamless integration with our bookkeeping systems.
  • Compare signed proposals to actual needs; recommend scope/pricing changes.
  • Manage onboarding timelines, deliverables, and client expectations.
  • Troubleshoot issues and optimize configurations.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to transition accounts into ongoing support with the Accounting Specialists team.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a client-facing accounting or onboarding role.
  • Public or multi-client accounting background
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online setup and troubleshooting.
  • Strong background in both cash- and accrual-based accounting
