Department OverviewMotorola’s Software Enterprise organization is a fast-paced organization at the front line of driving growth throughout Motorola Solutions. The CommandCentral Software team is building public safety solutions that bring the capabilities of the suite together into a single, user-centered workflow and help public safety manage data across their operation.
Job Description
This role is responsible for maximizing the field readiness for new software products and new feature introductions for CommandCentral DEMS product and related readiness across the CommandCentral product portfolio.
CommandCentral DEMS is Motorola Solutions’ digital evidence management system that is designed to serve the needs of public safety professionals - from capture to closure. CommandCentral DEMS is positioned as an integral part of Motorola Solutions’ integrated public safety software suite, connecting data, enhancing collaboration, and simplifying workflows in the field through a comprehensive user experience.
Primary responsibilities include:
Responsible for making product decisions and often acts as the lead resource for the rest of the organization when deep product expertise is required. This includes supporting the organizations that help bring the product to market and work directly with customers, including marketing, sales, training and support services. Primary responsibilities include proactively:
Facilitating sales and channel training across all relevant sales channels
Assisting pre-sales with custom project requests
Defining and ensuring implementation of go-to-market assets including demo environments, training materials, and presentations
Demonstrating new pre-release features
Qualifications:
Technical knowledge in software development methodologies
Firm understanding of product management principles
Extensive experience utilizing product and project management tools such as Aha! and/or Jira
Experience in law enforcement / public safety
Desired skills :
- Ability to research and analyze project requirements from various stakeholders
- Understanding of market trends, competitive intelligence data, financial data, and customer needs
- Build consensus among stakeholders
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a diverse team spread across multiple continents in a fast-moving environment
- Technical knowledge of Cloud services
- Extensive experience utilizing business management tools such as Google Workspace, Tableau, and similar tools
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are a necessity
- Professional presentation skills for internal and external audiences
- Proactive, enthusiastic attitude toward challenging problems
- Capable of quickly evaluating and prioritizing projects
Target Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $135,000 USD.
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience in Product or Project Management / Systems Engineering
