We are currently looking for a Sales Account Manager – Remote 

As a Sales Account Manager, you will be working with decision makers and other stakeholders in US State, Local and Federal agencies to actively seek new business opportunities, and to engage and build relationships with potential customers. You will also work internally with our Product Team, Marketing, Pre-Sales and Delivery Teams. 

As a Cognyter, you will: 

  • Plan, organize, lead sales growth, penetrate new and under-served accounts and maintain customer satisfaction on a long-term basis. 
  • Develop and maintain account plans and execute sales strategies aligned with the account plans. 
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and manage State, Local and Federal procurement and contracting processes. 
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives. Build and maintain a pipeline of business opportunities. 
  • Communicate a strong technical understanding of Cognyte’s offerings and know when to engage assistance from pre-sales, engineering, marketing, and senior management. 

Requirements

For this mission, you’ll need: 

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of proven work experience in SLED and Federal Sales. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Very good interpersonal and organizational skills. 
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills. 
  • Excellent Presentation skills. 
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 
  • Fluent English 
  • Experience with sales techniques and tools. 
  • Previous experience working with Law Enforcement, Financial and Cyber Investigations teams. 
  • US Citizenship Required
