This role is within Chamberlain Group's Sales function. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Drive new business acquisition in the Commercial Business Unit, focusing on either Perimeter (PAS) or Commercial (CAS) products, (ii) Understand the respective product line inside and out, and be able to communicate that effectively to customers, prospects and industry influencers alike, (iii) Represent Chamberlain Group at industry trade shows, (iv) Track prospects in a sales pipeline and (v) Provide leadership and strategy direction to all of the commercial sales teams across regions on a “dotted line” reporting structure. Requires 5+ years of sales experience of relevant work experience and a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry specific experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and create a pipeline of prospects and track to closure, providing reporting at each step of the journey on CRM

  • Provide leadership to all of the sales team across the regions on strategy for the respective product lines, CAS or PAS

  • Build a market-specific strategy to drive share growth for Liftmaster and MyQ Community in the Multi-Family Access Control market

  • Develop market plans to educate, drive, and scale portfolio adoption of the MyQ Community solution with Mid-Market Multi-Family Owners, Managers, and Developers

  • Create and conduct presentations to channel partners, end-users and internal leadership; represent Chamberlain Group at industry trade shows

  • Work cross functionally to develop, track and analyze collected customer & market data and make recommendations for sales execution and strategic sales roadmap

  • Conduct projects and programs to generate sales of LiftMaster CAS and PAS products to end users

  • Utilize CAS and PAS product knowledge and expertise in the LiftMaster and Chamberlain portfolio to  expand competitive market positioning; regularly train and mentor others utilizing this expertise

  • Lead and oversee projects in partnership with key dealers and integrators

  • Generate and follow-up on leads to fulfill the sales pipeline; determine best approach to close sales

  • Track and record activity on accounts in the CRM

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or ability to demonstrate equivalent experience

  • 5+ Years of Business Development/Sales Hunter experience

  • Proven track record of successful business development process implementations which drive growth

  • Multi-Family Market Experience required

  • Access Control/Security market experience preferred, either in Hardware, Software, Services, or Distribution

  • Florida-Based

  • Willing to travel up to 70%

The pay range for this position is $73,400.00 - $118,175.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.  In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).  This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
