Join Our Team! 

We’re looking for a skilled individual in commercial insurance who enjoys marketing the new business placement process with carriers to join the Moody Insurance Agency team! This is a great role for someone who has been in either Marketing or Account Management with small to mid-size agencies.

What You’ll Do:

  • Working alongside the Chief Risk Officer, you will oversee the entire new business marketing process. In collaboration with the Commercial Lines producer, you will compile the data required for new business submissions direct to the carrier(s) and business type. 
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with the carrier to create a detailed proposal to review and finalize with the producer.  As needed, assist the producer in the presentation with the client. 
  • Bind coverage for new customers, update applications in the system, prepare premium finance applications and coordinate effectively with the assigned account manager to ensure transition from Marketing to the Commercial Lines department is      successful.
  • Communicate regularly with underwriters and insurance company marketing representatives to discuss growth strategies and new opportunities. Actively pursue any markets or  programs that are attractive to producer participation. Negotiate and monitor business objectives and contingency arrangements. 

Requirements

 What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ Commercial Lines insurance experience required. Previous experience in sales, Commercial Lines account management or marketing role strongly desired. 
  • Demonstrated broad knowledge of Commercial Insurance coverages.
  • Property & Casualty License or ability to attain within 30 days. CRM, CIC, CPCU, or ARM designations strongly desired.
  • Outstanding consulting, sales and negotiating skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What Moody offers:

Moody offers full-time employees a significant, competitive and comprehensive total rewards package. The target salary range for the role is $75,000 – 100,000. Our benefit package includes: medical, dental, vision, HSA Banking, Flexible Spending/Dependent Care Accounts, 401(k), Disability and Group Life/AD&D, paid time off, Colorado Paid Family & Medical Leave, pet insurance and other supplemental benefit offerings.
