Responsibilities include researching, fact-checking, formatting, linking, sourcing and lightly editing images, pitching content ideas, incorporating editorial feedback, and communicating with the team. The role requires expertise in specified television franchises, coverage of shows on major U.S. networks, strong grammatical and English-language skills, rapid turnaround, and comfort working remotely as a freelance contributor.
This is a paid freelance, remote position.

Your Responsibilities
- Write articles per week in Screen Rant's house style (following the requisite training and peer mentorship period). This will include fact-checking, formatting, linking, and image sourcing/very basic editing (sizing, brightness, etc.)
- Expertise in the following shows: Law & Order franchise, NCIS franchise, One Chicago franchise, 9-1-1, High Potential, Boston Blue, Fire/Sherriff County, The Rookie, Grey's Anatomy
- Brainstorm, pitch, and develop original content ideas
- Accept and apply any/all feedback received by the editorial team
- Communicate openly and actively with the editorial team

Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English Literature, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience working with a credible digital publication
- A passion for the content and a drive to grow within the industry
- Cover new & upcoming TV shows on ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX networks.
- A sharp eye for grammatical details
- Excellent command of the English language
- Ability to write high-quality articles with swift turn-around times
- Comfortable working in an entirely virtual environment
