Overview
We are seeking a Network Operations II professional with a strong background in Network Operations Center (NOC) and datacenter environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a variety of network switches and a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. Experience with leading vendors such as Arista, Celestica, Cisco, Nvidia, or Accton is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure across datacenter and NOC environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues involving switches from multiple vendors (Arista, Celestica, Cisco, Nvidia, Accton).
- Respond to incidents and outages quickly, providing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network outages and resolve issues.
- Document network changes, incidents, and resolutions for knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring critical issues are addressed promptly.
- Be a resource and provide guidance for fellow team members and peers.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of NOC experience in a datacenter or large-scale network environment.
- Strong knowledge of network switches and protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLANs, etc.).
- Experience with network vendors: Arista, Celestica, Cisco, Nvidia, Accton (preferred).
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent (a plus).
Knowledge of datacenter best practices.
Ability to multi-task issues and assignments.
Salary Range
$72,960.00 - $115,200.00 USD (Salary)- Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.
- Further, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position. Where an applicant or employee is placed on this range will depend and be contingent on objective, documented work-related considerations like education, experience, certifications, licenses, preferred qualifications, among other factors.
