Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the strategic planning and tactical execution of IT resources
  • The implementation and configuration of development environments, network infrastructure, big data analytics and multi classification solutions within a government enterprise

Qualifications:

Required:

  • SECURITY CLEARANCE: Active TS/SCI or Active TS with SCI eligibility - Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume if applicable
  • BS degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other engineering-related field
  • Experience with Virtual Machines and Type 1 hypervisors, e.g. KVM, ESXi
  • Experience with Kubernetes/Docker (deploying/troubleshooting apps/containers)
  • Linux Experience: Proven experience with Linux, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, or other DOD networks.
  • CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certifications.
  • Understanding the project lifecycle, related processes, and traditional systems engineering skills.
  • Experience reviewing work products produced by a team of engineers for quality, completeness, and adherence to established procedures and policies.
  • Experience planning and supporting network infrastructure deployment are highly desired.
  • Experience collaborating with mission partners, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Experience analyzing system performance and recommending improvements to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability.
  • Experience with programming (scripting) languages (i.e. Bash, Python, .Net or Java)

Desired:

  • Experience with Neo4j and Bloom
  • Experience with Atlassian Suite: Jira, Confluence, Mattermost
  • GitLab experience
  • Apache open-source products (i.e. NiFi, Kafka, Zookeeper)
  • Risk Management Framework implementation
  • Software development experience (i.e. C++, Java, C)

Basic Compensation: $119,000k - $178,500k (For Colorado Springs Only)
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
