Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain the company's internal data communications systems.
Plan, design, and implement local and wide-area network solutions between multiple platforms and
protocols, including IP and VOIP.
Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for network issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal
performance.
Coordinate with vendors for the installation and maintenance of network devices such as routers, switches,
and firewalls.
Monitor network performance and security, utilizing network monitoring tools.
Assist in the development and implementation of network policies and procedures.
Maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and service records.
Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and industry trends.
Optimize network performance and ensure network security through the use of technologies such as VPN,
IDS/IPS.

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
Typically 2+ years of related experience.
Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
Understanding of routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).
Knowledge of VLANs and subnetting.
Experience with network troubleshooting and performance optimization.
Familiarity with network security technologies (e.g., VPN, IDS/IPS).
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: CCNA or higher (e.g., CCNP).
Experience with network design and implementation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience with network security practices and tools.
Knowledge of VOIP systems and protocols.
Compensation:
Pay Range:
$85,800 - $117,975
Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.

This position requires current/active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Sierra Space offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
