What will you do?    What are we looking for? 

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented .NET Lead to spearhead our talented team of .NET developers. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the technical leadership, architectural guidance, and delivery of high-quality software solutions built on the Microsoft .NET ecosystem. You will work closely with product owners, project managers, and other stakeholders to define technical roadmaps, ensure adherence to best practices, and mentor team members, contributing significantly to the success of our [product/service].

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of .NET developers.
  • Drive architectural design and decisions for .NET-based applications and services.
  • Ensure the team adheres to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
  • Lead the planning, estimation, and execution of development tasks.
  • Collaborate with product owners and project managers to define project scope and deliverables.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers, fostering their technical growth.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
  • Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  • Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of developed applications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a technical leadership role, guiding and mentoring development teams.
  • Deep understanding of the .NET ecosystem, including .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET 8 (or latest).
  • Strong proficiency in C# and related technologies.
  • Experience with architectural patterns (e.g., Microservices, Domain-Driven Design).
  • Experience with database design and development (both relational and NoSQL).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test automation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and their .NET services.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of .NET applications.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React, Blazor).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Contributions to open-source .NET projects.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 48,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 168,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is available for independent contractors
