About the Role

We’re building the future of digital banking, and deposits are at the core of it. As the National Digital Deposit Leader, you will own the end-to-end strategy, execution, and growth of our digital deposit products nationwide. This is a hands-on, high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and knows how to scale deposit growth through exceptional digital experiences, data-driven decisions, and strong partnerships.

You’ll operate at the intersection of product, growth, technology, and finance—turning customer needs into simple, scalable deposit solutions while balancing growth, unit economics, and regulatory expectations.

What You’ll Own:

    Digital Deposit Growth

Own national digital deposit growth across the consumer segment.
Design and execute acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention strategies with clear growth targets to rapidly build up to $10M per month, scaling to $100M per month within three years.
Develop pricing, promotional, and funding strategies that balance growth velocity with margin and liquidity needs in coordination with the CFO and ALM objectives.
Build and iterate on growth models, forecasts, and KPIs to guide decision-making.

    Product & Experience

Lead the end-to-end digital deposit product lifecycle—from concept to launch to optimization.
Partner closely with a sister-company’s engineering and design team along with the bank’s core system provider to deliver fast, intuitive digital account opening and funding experiences.
Champion experimentation (A/B testing, rapid iteration, MVP launches) to improve conversion and engagement.
Drive innovation in features such as instant funding, embedded finance, personalization, and self-service tools.

    Growth Marketing & Analytics

Collaborate with growth marketing to scale performance-based acquisition and lifecycle programs.
Leverage analytics to identify drop-offs, optimize funnels, and increase lifetime value.
Use customer insights and behavioural data to inform product and growth decisions.

    Risk, Compliance & Scale

Partner with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) partners to ensure deposit products meet regulatory requirements.
Build scalable processes and controls that support rapid growth without slowing innovation.
Anticipate and manage risks related to fraud, KYC, AML, and liquidity as the platform scales.

    Leadership & Culture

Act as the internal owner and evangelist for digital deposits.
Build, mentor, and inspire a lean, high-performing cross-border team as the company grows.
Influence executives and cross-functional leaders with clear strategy, strong data, and decisive execution.

What We’re Looking For

8–12+ years of experience in fintech, digital banking, or high-growth financial services.
Proven experience scaling digital deposit products in a startup or fintech environment including establishing a brand on a national basis.
Strong understanding of deposit economics, pricing, and funding dynamics.
Experience working with deposit aggregators, listing services, and other tools to augment direct account acquisition.
Hands-on experience with digital account opening, onboarding, and growth funnels.
Comfortable operating with ambiguity, speed, and ownership.

    Nice to Have

Experience working with BaaS platforms, sponsor banks, or embedded finance models.
Background in growth, product, or data-led organizations.
Familiarity with modern fintech stacks, APIs, and cloud-based platforms.
Prior experience launching or scaling a 0→1 or 1→N deposit product.

    How Success Is Measured

    Digital deposit growth and retention
Cost of acquisition and payback period
    Conversion, activation, and engagement rates
Deposit mix, margin contribution, and funding stability
    Customer satisfaction and product adoption

    Why this role matters

Deposits fuel everything we do. This role has direct impact on growth, profitability, and customer trust. You’ll have the autonomy to build, the data to guide decisions, and the opportunity to shape a core product at scale.

This position supports a planned U.S. digital deposit business and is subject to applicable regulatory approvals and business readiness requirements.
