Job Description
As the Beyond Meat National Account Manager, Natural Channel, you will be responsible for selling & executing key Beyond Meat strategies with the goal of hitting revenue & profit growth targets at a set group of retailers based in the US. You will be equipped with a set trade-spend budget to drive said strategies & growth. You will also leverage brokers, distributors, & other key partners to maximize the impact across your customers.
A successful NAM, Natural Channel, deeply understands customers including but not limited to, Whole Foods, Sprouts, INFRA, NCG, UNFI, and KEHE. Consequently, they build strategic plans that simultaneously grow Beyond’s business, grow the customer’s business, & delight the shopper & execute those plans with excellence. Their buyers, distributors, & brokers come to them first with opportunities or ideas because they trust the NAM knows exactly what solutions will deliver the most value. Lastly, because of this robust knowledge & understanding, they actively advocate internally for the strategies, tools, & support that will maximize growth for their customers.
TASKS, DUTIES, & GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain long term strategic relationships with key customers, establishing a sustainable platform for continued development of the Top‐to‐Top relationship.
Support the preparation of strategic plans, encompassing sales and marketing activities, using category, consumer, shopper, and market information.
Assist in the development of action plans to strengthen relationships with relevant parties at assigned account HQ(s).
Identify and explore commercial expansion opportunities.
Support annual planning, joint business planning, trade marketing budget and negotiations.
Assist in the management of forecast accuracy for current and new products and execute new product launches.
Collaborate with a large cross functional team including shopper insights, category management, supply chain, and R&D.
Monitor performance of strategic plans and evaluate successes, risks and opportunities and formulate plans to improve key indicators.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Technical Skills, and/or Previous Experience:
7+ years’ experience of managing and expanding strategic accounts and relationships in the CPG industry
Expertise selling CPG products into customers such as Whole Foods, Sprouts, INFRA, UNFI, KEHE and more
Experience managing Top-to-Top conversations with similar strategic accounts
Direct experience managing P&L
Experience leveraging syndicated data (Neilsen, IRI, Spins)
Extensive prior exposure to supporting and working with executive senior management
Strong listening, questioning and negotiation skills ‐ outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Disciplined time management and ability to work under pressure in a cross functional environment
Excellent proposal writing and presenting, project management and analytical skills
Advanced computer software proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint and data visualization), Google Suite and Microsoft Office
Proficiency in analyzing information and making information-based recommendations
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Remote USA position within a 50-mile radius of a major airport
Strong strategic skills with experience in annual business planning.
Strong analytical skills: syndicated data analysis (IRI & Spins) and budget management.
Post promotion analysis.
Strong PC skills including MS Office.
Retail Link, Partners Online, and Blue Planner experience preferred.
Very strong team player, ability to work with cross-functional teams to get results.
Passion for Beyond Meat and its missions and goals.
Ability to travel 40 –50%.
**Annual salary commensurate with experience**
The starting annual base pay for this remote role is between USD $135,000 and $150,000. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for bonus and benefits.
