This role will focus on expanding partnerships with universities, nursing programs, and healthcare organizations through Fitzgerald Health’s portfolio, including:

You’ll be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies and partnering with marketing and product teams to optimize outreach and engagement. This role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer of Colibri Healthcare and plays a critical part in shaping the future growth of our business.

Who You Are:

You are a seasoned sales leader with deep experience in higher education, healthcare, or clinical sales. You have a proven track record of driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and influencing key decision-makers at all levels. You thrive in a high-growth, high-visibility environment, where your ability to navigate complex sales cycles and deliver results will make an immediate impact.

If you are looking for an opportunity to own a high-value sales strategy, work cross-functionally with marketing and product teams, and drive significant business expansion, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and execute a high-impact sales strategy to expand Fitzgerald Health’s footprint within higher education institutions, professional training programs, and healthcare organizations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for clients, deeply understanding their business goals, challenges, and purchasing behaviors.
  • Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities by engaging with deans, program directors, faculty, and other key decision-makers.
  • Establish, manage, and grow value-based relationships through exceptional communication, follow-through, and consultative selling.
  • Define success plans for clients, setting clear deliverables and ensuring alignment with their objectives.
  • Partner with marketing teams to enhance lead generation efforts and improve outreach strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally with client success teams to ensure a smooth handoff for post-sale implementation and long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Represent Colibri Healthcare at industry conferences, client meetings, and professional events (approximately 20% travel).
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, providing insights that help improve our products, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • 7+ years of experience in consultative sales, business development, or enterprise partnerships, preferably in higher education, healthcare, or professional training industries.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving large-scale business expansion.
  • Experience building senior-level relationships within academic institutions, healthcare systems, or professional training programs.
  • Deep understanding of higher education procurement processes, funding cycles, and decision-making hierarchies.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills—ability to identify market opportunities and execute against them.
  • Experience in Salesforce or other CRM platforms for pipeline management, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to effectively navigate complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills with a deep understanding of pricing models and deal structures.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field preferred; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Colibri Group welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and experiences, and we understand that not every candidate will meet every requirement listed in the job description. Research has shown that women and people of color may be less likely to apply to jobs unless they feel they meet every qualification, and we want to actively combat this bias in our hiring process. If you're excited about the role and believe you have the skills and experience to contribute to our team, we encourage you to apply, even if your background doesn't align perfectly with every qualification listed. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we believe that diversity of perspectives and experiences is essential to our success. You may be just the right candidate for this role or another position within our organization. Don't hesitate to take the leap and apply today!
