The Fixed Video Team is a critical part of Motorola Solutions. Our FVIA Project Manager helps bring together the innovative video solutions that make a difference in the moments that matter most!
Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development and implementation of Motorola Solutions Fixed Video products or services.  

  • Coordinate with departmental and/or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgraded existing Fixed Video products or services.

  • Create, manage, and receive purchase orders.

  • Work with Fixed Video Sales and Pre-Sales Business Managers to incorporate MBE/milestones to capture service revenue.

  • Manage projects from inception to completion (or transition), including tracking and evaluation of project performance with Fixed Video Channel Partners, Fixed Video Sales, M&S RSMs and CSMs.

  • Ensure that FVIA revenue/costs goals are forecasted and updated regularly.

  • Participate in FVIA Pre/Post project review and status meetings, and communicate project status.

  •  Look for ways to continuously improve FVIA process in Standalone and Ecosystem projects and drive efficiencies.

  • May assist in the development of business plans, strategies, and approaches to take advantage of business opportunities.

  • Accountable for accomplishing the stated project objectives within the stipulated time period and budget.

  • Ensure that the three constraints (quality, cost and time) that face every project are properly managed.

  • Lead large programs or portions of very complex programs.

  • Experience in running project phases.

  • Able to oversee development of the complete project plan.

  • Able to establish, track, and audit project budgets, analyze variances and develop action plans as required.

  • Represent the organization on projects and may perform in project leadership role.

  • Involved in the management of project staff including project reporting, administration and communication.

  • Responsible for project planning, setting deliverable dates, and tracking those deliverables.

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

  • Develop a project plan to monitor and track progress.

  • Manage and communicate changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.

  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.

  • Report and escalate to management as needed.

  • Successfully manage the relationships of all project resources.

  • Aggressive/Creative problem solving skills, able to get things done in a multi-organizational environment.

  • Participation in project reviews.

  • Strong knowledge of Motorola Solutions internal systems (CPQ, I-procurement, Kissflow, etc).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, customer service, account relationship, time management, organizational and negotiating skills.

  • Ability to prioritize changing priorities, as necessary.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, Visio and ability to work in other software systems as required.

Target Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $150,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.


Basic Requirements

Required Skills:

  • High School diploma, Technical Certificate, Associates, or Bachelor's degree required.

  • 5 years of experience in Project Management deploying Motorola Solutions products required.

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
