Opportunity and Keys to Success:

As a Senior Consultant within our Real Assets North America Team, you will have the opportunity to be a part of Alpha Alternatives’ most dynamic and growing practice, helping our clients to better leverage technology and data to achieve their business goals and objectives. The ideal candidate for this role possesses an enthusiasm to learn, think critically, communicate effectively, and is a self-starter.

You will get hands-on experience working on client engagements in a client-facing role in which relationship building is key. Another critical factor in your success will be the ability to work collaboratively with engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds by fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment. We are looking for team members who have a professional attitude, a high-degree of flexibility, a client-service orientation, and a genuine desire to see others succeed. You will also interface with clients to identify their goals, gather their business requirements, and socialize deliverables. As you build your knowledge and experience, we will look for you to become a trusted advisor to others within the organization, as well as to our clients.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of proven consulting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, information systems, computer science or another related academic major; a focus on real estate is a plus but not required
  • Masters’ degree preferred but not required
  • Process improvement mindset, going above and beyond to identify operational inefficiencies and taking steps to improve processes and automate repetitive tasks
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; demonstrated ability to analyze a problem from different angles
  • Willingness to learn with a passion for expanding your knowledge
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience working in highly collaborative teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Experience in real estate investment management or real estate operations processes, data, and/or technologies preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Willingness to travel to meet client needs
  • CPA, CFA, PMP are a plus but not required

Location: Virtual (US)

There are a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to - skill sets, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the salary range is $100,000 – $140,000 USD for US-based hires and $120,000 – $160,000 CAD for Toronto-based hires, subject to change based on salary benchmarking. In addition to this salary, candidates will be eligible for a variable bonus.
