Mortgage Pipeline Manager — RenoFi

RenoFi is transforming the way homeowners finance their renovations while continuing to serve the traditional mortgage demand. We are building the nation’s leading renovation lending platform, empowering homeowners to tap into their future home value, not just the equity they already have. The future of mortgage operations isn’t just about managing files. It’s about managing momentum. It’s about leading people, refining processes, and ensuring every loan in the pipeline moves forward with precision and care. Our operations team sits at the core of this mission. As the Mortgage Pipeline Manager, you will oversee the heartbeat of our production. You’ll lead a small but growing team of processors, and you’ll also be hands-on yourself, directly managing files, solving bottlenecks, and partnering closely with originators, underwriters, and fulfillment teams to keep loans moving. This isn’t a big-company management role. It’s a roll-up-your-sleeves leadership position on a small, high-performing team that’s scaling fast. You’ll spend as much time in the work, leading it, building systems, creating accountability, and driving operational excellence from the front line.

Why RenoFi:

The nation’s most advanced renovation lending platform with products that competitors can’t offer.
A culture that values precision, accountability, and collaboration between sales, operations, and fulfillment.
A leadership team that rewards doers and empowers you to make real operational impact every day.
Access to best-in-class technology and reporting tools to help you manage and optimize pipeline flow.
A mission-driven company that helps homeowners create the homes they love while fueling the businesses of builders and contractors nationwide.

What You’ll Do:

As the Mortgage Pipeline Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that every loan in our pipeline moves efficiently from submission to funding while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and an exceptional customer experience. Lead, coach, and develop a small team of mortgage processors focused on accuracy, speed, and client satisfaction.
Personally manage parts of the pipeline, rolling up your sleeves to solve challenges, and model operational excellence.
Oversee daily pipeline management, including file aging, milestone tracking, and escalation resolution.
Partner with Loan Officers, Underwriting, and Lending Partners to ensure loan files are complete, accurate, and progressing on schedule.

Implement accountability metrics for your team, including turn times, quality standards, and pull-through rates.
Identify process bottlenecks and collaborate with the Head of Operations and EVP of National Production to streamline workflows and increase throughput.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, investor guidelines, and all applicable regulations.
Build visibility tools and reporting to track daily and weekly pipeline health for leadership.

Who You Are:

You’re an operational leader who isn’t afraid to get your hands dirty. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where ownership is everything and every improvement makes a visible difference.

A hands-on operator who leads by doing and enjoys being in the details of a loan file.

Someone who is excited to shape and scale a modern operations function.

A problem solver who identifies inefficiencies and builds systems to fix them.

A mentor who develops processors through coaching and collaboration.

A communicator who bridges sales and operations seamlessly.

A detail-oriented executor who knows that consistency, follow-up, and accountability create predictable success and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in mortgage operations, with at least 2 years in a pipeline or processing management role.
  • Proven experience managing or leading a small operations team while remaining hands-on with pipeline execution.
  • Deep understanding of loan manufacturing from application through closing across Agency, FHA, VA, Non-QM, HELOCs, and renovation products.
  • Experience with LOS and CRM systems (Salesforce) and comfort with analytics and reporting.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated success in improving operational efficiency and collaboration across departments.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset. You are comfortable with change, ambiguity, and building systems in a growing company.

If you’re looking for a leadership role where you can still get your hands on the work, improve the process daily, and be part of building the next generation of mortgage operations, this is it. Join RenoFi and help us create the most efficient, modern operations platform and the best renovation loan experience in America.
