Mortgage Disclosure Analyst

About the teamAs a part of the Zillow Home Loans team, you will play an active role in providing best-in-class service to help customers achieve an optimal closing experience. As a Post-Closing CD Specialist, you will help reconcile the final version of the Closing Disclosure, including post-funding revisions, to ensure we’re providing each customer an exact record of their mortgage transaction, and meeting all compliance requirements.

About the role

•    Develop a thorough understanding of company Loan Origination System (“LOS”)
•    Review and ensure accuracy and data integrity required for the issuance of the Closing Disclosure and Loan Estimate
•    Maintain an accurate record of communications and/or actions related to the disclosing process in the conversation log of the applicable loan file
•    Maintain efficient levels of service and follow regulatory timelines associated with the completion and dissemination of loan disclosures verified through the recording of events in LOS tracking system
•    Deliver mortgage loan disclosures in a secure and accurate manner
•    Maintain confidentiality and privacy of customer and employee information
•    Ability to work overtime as needed

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $19.40 - $29.00 Hourly. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

·       Knowledge of mortgage compliance regulations for conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA loan programs

·       Familiarity with LOS Encompass is strongly preferred

·       Knowledge of Microsoft Office Product Suite

·       High school diploma or general education degree

·       Ability to self-direct and adapt to changing timelines/deadlines

·       Ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced environment

·       Excellent oral and written communication skills along with customer service orientation

·       Ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs

·       Strong problem-solving ability
