PLEASE NOTE: Qualification for this job is contingent upon acceptable results from a background investigation as well as your having and maintaining the specific level of U.S. government background investigation and clearance required for this role.

Salesforce, the world’s leading AI, Data, and CRM platform, is seeking an innovative and experienced product leader to guide the evolution of our Sovereign Cloud offerings for U.S. and international markets. This role is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for products that deliver trusted, compliant, and scalable solutions across global markets, driving both growth and customer confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for core compliance investments in Trust, including security, privacy, scalability, and accessibility.

  • Establish a repeatable, data-driven framework for prioritizing sovereign cloud initiatives based on technical alignment, market opportunity, legal clarity, and ROI, guiding long-term infrastructure and growth decisions.

  • Develop a flexible sovereignty framework ranging from data residency to air-gapped "Software-in-a-Box" and licensing models that allows customers to select controls based on their specific risk appetite.

  • Develop a deep understanding of Salesforce product and platform architecture, identifying requirements and paths to continuous compliance and operational excellence.

  • Lead cross-functional and cross-organizational coordination to ensure successful delivery of product and compliance initiatives, including engineering, design, QA, and management teams.

  • Evangelize product capabilities, compliance features, and strategic vision internally and externally at customer events, conferences, and public sector forums.

  • Mentor and coach Product Managers and development team members, fostering expertise in global compliance, Trust, and platform development.

  • Drive improvements to product management best practices and define success metrics to measure impact.

  • Present Public Sector product capabilities, vision, and roadmap to customers, prospects, and internal teams, reinforcing Salesforce’s leadership in compliant cloud solutions.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven ability to set a compelling product vision and inspire cross-functional teams.

  • Experience operating effectively in highly matrixed, complex organizational environments.

  • Demonstrated success in defining and executing multi-year product roadmaps based on market requirements.

  • Deep experience with Cloud technologies across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.

  • Deep familiarity with Confidential Computing, Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), and cryptographic attestation as a means to provide sovereignty in public cloud environments

  • Experience product managing disconnected or air-gapped cloud regions and localized operational models where US-based personnel access is restricted or eliminated.

  • Experience with Technology Localization and partnership-based cloud models (e.g., local joint ventures or "ring-fenced" operations) similar to those used in highly restrictive international markets.

  • Strong security and compliance expertise across U.S. and international regulatory environments, including public sector and highly regulated industries.

  • In-depth knowledge of global data sovereignty and residency requirements, including Germany’s data protection landscape and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • Familiarity with major frameworks, including EU Cloud Sovereignty Framework, French SecNumCloud, Canada Protected B, Australia IRAP and ISMAP, FedRAMP, Risk Management Framework (RMF), Department of Defense Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG), and NIST 800-53 control families and security controls.

  • Minimum 7+ years of product management experience, preferably in cloud, security, or public sector domains.

Must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) living on U.S. soil who does not hold dual citizenship with the ability to meet customer and government screening standards applicable to this role.

PLEASE NOTE: Qualification for this job is contingent upon acceptable results from a background investigation as well as your having and maintaining the specific level of U.S. government background investigation and clearance required for this role.
