The Mining Protocol Intern will analyze code related to mining protocols, collaborate on improvements, and assist with administrative tasks while gaining hands-on MIS experience.
SUMMARY:
The Mining Protocol Intern will be responsible for supporting our MIS team in various tasks and projects aimed at improving our mining protocols. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in MIS.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Analyzing existing code, architecture, and infrastructure related to mining protocols
- Deploying and managing services to ensure efficient mining operations
- Understanding and monitoring critical metrics for observability to improve reliability
- Collaborating with team members to optimize mining protocols and processes
- Participating in the development and implementation of new mining strategies
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks as needed

- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering)
- Strong interest in bitcoin and bitcoin mining
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with Rust or similar programming language
- Experience with observability and analysis tools
