This role involves collaborating with the marketing and leadership teams to identify key narratives, highlight company milestones, and deliver impactful articles that resonate with industry professionals, investors, and media outlets.
Scope: 20 hours per month, after successful initial test article
Duration: approximately 3-6 months, with potential to extend
Responsibilities:
- Develop thought leadership articles and blog posts that align with the company’s brand voice and industry positioning. (approx. 3-4/mo)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and distill key messaging and topics.
- Research mining trends, market developments, and global industry shifts to inform timely, relevant content.
- Translate complex technical or geological concepts into simple, accessible language for a broader business and investor audience.
- Ensure all written materials meet brand tone, compliance, and editorial standards.
- Contribute content ideas to support quarterly marketing initiatives and PR efforts.
- Edit and proofread materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency across all channels.
- Experience as a content writer, preferably within the mining industry and knowledge of the client’s target audience
- Exceptional writing abilities and the skill to adapt tone and style to match brand and audience. The candidate must also have impeccable grammar and attention to detail.
- Light strategic collaboration to guide the team on the most effective content piece based on the message they want to convey
- Ability to meet in US hours
