Military DoD SkillBridge Program - Senior Operations Planning Analyst
The Senior Operations Planning Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving production and operations schedules that support customer demand, business priorities, and execution performance. This role partners closely with operations, supply chain, materials, manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, and program teams to align schedules with capacity, material availability, and shop readiness. The role requires strong analytical capability, operating rigor, and proactive problem solving to identify schedule risks, drive recovery actions, and improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost outcomes.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Own development, maintenance, and execution support of production and operations schedules for assigned value streams, product lines, programs, or sites
- Translate demand, backlog, forecast, and business priorities into executable schedules aligned with capacity, labor, material availability, and operational constraints
- Analyze schedule attainment, loading, throughput, bottlenecks, and resource constraints to identify risks and recommend corrective actions
- Partner with manufacturing, materials, sourcing, logistics, quality, and program teams to align schedules with operational readiness and customer commitments
- Lead schedule reviews and planning routines to communicate priorities, risks, constraints, and recovery plans
- Monitor schedule adherence, past due orders, recovery progress, and output performance; escalate issues that may impact delivery or business commitments
- Perform scenario analysis to evaluate schedule options, tradeoffs, and impacts to capacity, fulfillment, and customer delivery
- Drive schedule stabilization through improved planning logic, operating discipline, and cross-functional action management
- Develop and maintain planning dashboards, reports, and metrics related to schedule attainment, backlog, constraint management, and on-time delivery
- Support operating cadences including daily management, weekly reviews, and leadership updates with clear, data-driven insights
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to improve schedule accuracy, flow, visibility, and predictability
Required Qualifications
- Active Military personnel on their last 180 days of Military service
- Significant experience in operations planning, production scheduling, supply chain, manufacturing, or related analytical roles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems and planning or scheduling tools
- Ability to work across functions and influence stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Aerospace, aviation, or other complex regulated manufacturing environments
- Excel and data analysis capability
- Experience leading planning reviews, schedule recovery efforts, and cross-functional action tracking
- Knowledge of operational metrics including plan attainment, schedule adherence, throughput, backlog, and on-time delivery

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
