As a Mid-Market Account Manager, Meetings & Events, your mission is to drive revenue and ensure clients are delighted, referenceable, and maximizing the value they take from Navan's Meetings & Events services. You will achieve this by building strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, serving as a strategic advisor, and aligning client goals with our solutions to optimize their event programs. Account Managers are responsible for onboarding, renewals, and  upselling different lines of business across our portfolio of services to drive program success and client satisfaction. Your ability to identify growth opportunities, deliver exceptional service, and foster lasting partnerships will be critical to creating meaningful client outcomes and achieving shared success.

What You’ll Do:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders across assigned client accounts, from program administrators to C-suite leaders.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, aligning client goals with Navan Meetings & Events solutions to maximize value and drive program success.
  • Proactively identify opportunities within existing accounts to expand usage of Navan’s Meetings & Events services by Reed & Mackay, including new departments, teams, geographies, and use cases.
  • Leverage strong sales acumen to identify growth opportunities, upsell and cross-sell opportunities to drive additional revenue while meeting or exceeding sales and retention targets.
  • Increase engagement with Events offerings by educating clients on available services, competitive advantages, and aligning offerings with their event calendars and goals.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through effective planning, execution, and regular post-event reviews to capture feedback and secure repeat business.
  • Partner with clients to onboard new departments or teams, ensuring seamless integration of event services and ongoing program success.
  • Establish multiple champions across different levels and teams within client organizations to deepen account penetration and reduce risk.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, operations, and customer success, to deliver exceptional service and meet client needs.
  • Lead MSA renewal discussions, ensuring timely agreement updates and a seamless client lifecycle experience.
  • Foster referenceable relationships and develop client case studies to showcase success stories.
  • Travel as needed to client sites to build stronger relationships and deliver tailored solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management and Meetings & Events or related customer-facing position within a rapidly growing company
  • Demonstrable track record of high performance and success.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to think strategically, problem solve, and effectively prioritize work and initiatives in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Data driven mindset with attention to detail
  • High energy, go-getter with fresh ideas who takes the initiative to get things done
  • Highly intelligent, passionate, driven, high EQ, coachable individuals who are excited to delight clients, drive revenue, build a generational company, and accelerate their careers. 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or similar work experience
The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.
For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
