About the Role
The Technical Writer produces high-quality, customer-facing documentation that supports the successful use of our products and scales with our growing company. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and quality teams to deliver clear, accurate, and user-focused product documentation for frequent product releases.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain documentation for multiple product areas from planning through release.
- Partner with product managers and engineers to develop an in-depth understanding of product features, workflows, and technical constraints.
- Write and update release notes, feature documentation, and user guides in support of weekly product releases.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, current, and aligned with established terminology, style, and audience guidelines.
- Identify documentation needs, gaps, and dependencies, and address outdated or inaccurate content.
- Incorporate feedback from internal teams and customers to continuously improve documentation quality and clarity.
- Support release readiness by tracking doc needs across active product changes.
- Make informed decisions about documentation scope and prioritization in partnership with docs leadership.
Requirements
- 2-5 years experience as a technical writer, with demonstrated ownership of product documentation.
- Experience writing docs for enterprise software products, preferably for B2B SaaS.
- Strong structured writing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to apply established documentation standards, templates, and terminology consistently.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, release-driven environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to quickly understand technical concepts and workflows.
- Ability to ask effective questions and collaborate with technical stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development and documentation that aligns with a regular release cadence.
- Experience working in a Git-based workflow.
- Ability to manage multiple documentation updates concurrently
