We are seeking a Full Stack UI Developer with a strong background in C++, JavaScript (JS), React, and Python to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating user-friendly interfaces and a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end development. Experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) projects and Jira is a plus.
Position location is on-site in Boulder, CO 5 days per week.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in C++, JS, React, and Python.
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure applications work on various devices.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Utilize Jira for project management and tracking.
- Apply DoD standards and protocols to ensure compliance and security.
Required Skills & Experience
- Clearance Required: Secret. This position requires the ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance. Interim or Active DOD Secret clearance or higher is preferred. Due to the clearance requirement, U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidate also must agree to participate in a background screen.
- 3+ years experience.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in C++, JavaScript (JS), React, and/or Python.
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript/ React
- Experience with back-end development, including Python
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in using Jira for project management.
- A passion for learning and staying current with industry trends.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with DoD projects is highly desirable.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques
- Familiarity with Rust

The SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications. The proposed salary for this position is:
$103,200—$172,000 USD
