Location- RemoteThis position can be based remotely anywhere in the U.S. (there may be some restrictions based on legal entity). Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager.
The Manager, Employee Engagement supports the activation and advancement of the field engagement strategy across the Customer Engagement (CE) organization. Blending program coordination, analytics, communications, and cross-functional partnership, this individual helps ensure that frontline associates are informed, equipped, and connected—ultimately contributing to cultural cohesion in support of CE’s strategic objectives.

Job Responsibilities
- Data-Driven Engagement Support: Partner to review survey insights (Our Voice, etc.) and field feedback, and help translate findings into actionable plans that support business objectives and improve field morale, connection, and discretionary effort.
- Program Coordination & Execution: Assist in the delivery and operationalization of enterprise and CE-specific engagement initiatives focused on recognition, development, and field engagement; ensure smooth execution and adoption.
- Listening Infrastructure Support: Maintain and evolve employee listening mechanisms (e.g., CE Hub), summarize findings, and share insights with leadership.
- Employee Feedback & Reporting: Support the preparation of reports and presentations on engagement trends, field sentiment, and feedback outcomes for CE leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Experience Design Assistance: Help design and deliver motivating touchpoints across the employee lifecycle, including recognition programs, town halls, and field events.
- Communications: Draft and coordinate internal communication content that drives clarity, purpose, and connection—especially during times of change.
- Capability Building: Assist in implementing initiatives that support manager enablement, coaching for engagement, and inclusive leadership across field teams.
Education:
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Business-related discipline).
Experience:
Minimum requirements:
·4–6 years of experience in employee engagement, communications, HR, Training, or related discipline; healthcare and/or pharmaceutical background preferred
· Experience supporting change and organizational initiatives
· Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to simple, effective solutions
· Analytical skills with experience using employee survey data to inform action
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across levels and functions

Novartis Compensation Summary:
The salary for this position is expected to range between $126,000 and $234,000 per year.
The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.
Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.

In addition, employees are eligible for a generous time off package including vacation, personal days, holidays and other leaves.
