Description: Specialized data entry focused strictly on the accuracy of medical billing and diagnostic codes (ICD-10/CPT).
Responsibilities:
Input and update the internal "Master Code Library" as federal regulations change.
Ensure that "local" procedure codes from various hospitals are accurately mapped to Omny’s central taxonomy.
Audit "Other" or "Miscellaneous" code entries to find the most accurate specific code match.
Support the Clinical team in refining automated coding algorithms with manual examples.
