Gogo is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of electromechanical assemblies for aerospace and industrial applications. The ideal candidate will perform detailed drawing creation, basic mechanical design and analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support testing and integration efforts.

How will you make a difference?
Create and update detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks
Support mechanical design efforts under the direction of senior engineers, including part selection, material specification, and integration with electrical components
Assist in performing basic mechanical analysis (e.g., stress, thermal, tolerance stack-ups)
Write and maintain test plans and procedures under the guidance of senior engineers
Aid and participate in internal and external testing activities, including setup, data collection, and troubleshooting
Compile and format test data into reports for review by peers and management
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Electrical, Quality, and Test teams to ensure product requirements are met
Facilitate continuous improvement and sustainment efforts for legacy products
Ensure work complies with internal standards and, where applicable, FAA regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field
1–3 years of relevant mechanical design experience
Required Skills, Talents & Experience
Proficiency in SolidWorks (or equivalent CAD software)
Strong technical writing and communication skills
Ability to work independently with mentorship, and within a collaborative team environment
Willingness to support hands-on testing and occasional travel for external test events
Experience with electromechanical systems integration
Exposure to mechanical testing and data analysis
Familiarity with FAA regulations certification processes per RTCA, DO-160 a plus
Preferred Skills, Talents & Experience
Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., aerospace, automotive, or medical device industry) a plus
Understanding of design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA) a plus

72,000.00 - 90,000.00 USD AnnualTarget Annual Short-Term Incentive:
