Honeybee Robotics is looking for Mechanical Engineers to design and build revolutionary motion control and actuation systems for the most thrilling aerospace applications!

Responsibilities:

  • Execute high reliability mechanical design and analysis for long life space applications.
  • Design mechanical systems including bearings, gears, motors, and rotating mechanisms.
  • Oversee, support, and troubleshoot assembly of engineering, qualification, and production hardware.
  • Analyze client specifications and develop responsive solutions supported by engineering analysis and or test data.
  • Generate design documentation and vendor specifications.
  • Support assembly and test including environmental testing, shock, vibration and thermal.
  • Proactively identify roadblocks to technical progress and take steps to mitigate/avoid.
  • Review test data and recommend changes to products and/or processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 4+ years of experience.
  • Proficient with a variety of computer aided design & analysis.
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
  • Previous aerospace industry experience is a plus.
