YOUR MISSION

As a Mechanical CAD Drafter at True Anomaly, you will be responsible for the creation of piece part and assembly drawings for flight and GSE components. This is an opportunity to gain experience and insight into every phase of a spacecraft program development while becoming an integral member of the Hardware team. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow complex instructions and diagrams to create or modify drawings 
  • Capability to take verbal direction and implementing into sketches and calculations to produce the final work 
  • Produce spacecraft piece part drawings, assembly drawings, and technical details for manufacturing  
  • Work with mechanical, thermal, electrical and structural engineers on updates and designs 
  • Storyboard assemblies for production 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s degree or 2+ years working in aerospace engineering support or equivalent discipline 
  • Professional experience in mechanical design  
  • Strong understanding in mechanical GD&T 
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD Drawings 
  • Passion for the space industry 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team 

COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary: $65,000, $85,000 for Associate Mechanical CAD Drafter; $70,000, $90,000 for Mechanical CAD Drafter I; $90,000, $115,000 for Mechanical CAD Drafter II
    • This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime.
  • Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave 

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience. 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearance 
  • Work Location: this role will be fully onsite at our GravityWorks factory in Centennial, CO  
  • Work environment is in a standard office, working at a desk or in a production factory. 
  • Physical demands may include frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting or carrying items up to 20lbs.
