Mean Green, a leading battery-powered, commercial-grade turf care manufacturer and a Generac Power Systems (NYSE: GNRC) company, is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and growing sales, managing a team of field-based Regional Development Managers, developing and fostering relationships with key channel partners both domestically and internationally, developing sales strategies, and identifying new business opportunities. Other day-to-day tasks include participating in trade shows, providing product demonstrations, and managing sales budgets.
This is a remote position.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of successful recent sales or marketing experience working with assigned channel
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel overnight up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of sales experience
- 5+ years of sales experience in Outdoor Power Equipment
- 5+ years of experience managing a successful Sales Team and business development
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- 50% travel to work with RDM’s, meet with clients and attend trade shows
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
